Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

At first felt very comfortable (as all my Moda in Pelle shoes are. But in wearing I find the toe area is too sharply sloped and this causes discomfort with my toes.
Sadly therefore I am not able to give these shoes the usual 5 star rating I have become used to with Moda in Pelle

I'm not able to rate the shoes because they were sent in the wrong size. This was probably a warehouse mistake. To rectify this, I found was very inconvenient. I had to take photos for evidence and email them to customer services. They then told me to find a trackable delivery service, pay the cost and email an image of the receipt to them to organise a refund of up to £7. After that having to arrange to have the correct size shoes posted out again and wait for the delivery. I opted to make a 40-mile round trip, to the nearest MdP shop, to exchange the shoes. All in all not happy with the service!

These are so pretty. True to size. I’d stick true to size wether you intend on wearing them with a sock or not. They are well made and it doesn’t feel like you’ll lose the crystal stones in a hurry. They are not too high I think the wedge height may look higher in the photo, they are very comfortable.
