Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

I have averagely slim size 6.5 feet and I ordered size
7 and I’m pleased with the fit, added height and the
softness and comfort. My feet did slip down in them a little, so I tried putting my gel type toe protectors on, and it did the job perfectly

Quite disappointed with the fact that they cost £64.00 and yet not leather. I know it’s my mistake for not reading the description in full but mislead by the fact that the company is called Moda in Pelle , so assumed that being on offer for this price will be leather.

Trainers are fantastic but they look like they have been worn as slight marks on the soles on the trainer. As I got them in the sale and no other sizes left I have kept them. Very comfy just a shame they have a few marks on the bottom.

Very smart looking and comfortable on - unfortunately they were slightly loose around my heel and the laces were already tight (a shame because they were lovely in every other way) so I’ve had to send them back. A brief comment on the packaging - it would be helpful if the plastic bag was not sealed so tight around the box - I wasn’t able to re-use the original bag as it wasn’t big enough to reseal and so I had to buy a new bag - which I guess will be thrown away when it gets back to the warehouse, not great for the environment? And I also had to pay for the return which is a pain, I get that returns cost to process but there are relatively few stores so returning them in person not an option for me.
