Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

I love the fact these have the soft Portuguese leather and also that the have the hidden wedge. My feet always feel too flat in normal trainers and the added height of these make them look elegant.

Lovely shoe, gorgeous soft leather. Slightly on the heavy side, if it had been a bit lighter weight would give 5 star. I’m size 3 to 3 and half and there’s plenty of room in size the size 3.

Lovely shoes. Unfortunately I’m having to return as the seam at the heel of the right shoe has a knot in the stick. Could feel this when walking around the house and don’t want to take the risk of blisters when walking any distance.

I have only wore them four time since I purchased them. They are the noisiest trainers I’ve ever wore as they squeak continuously when walking.
First time I wore them into work, I was so self conscious everyone was asking what the noise was, it was embarrassing.
I’ve now paid a lot of money for shoes I’m not going to wear.

Lovey versatile trainer. Very comfy and look great on. My only negative is that they squeak! It's the actual wedge inside which makes the noise when you apply pressure when walking.

Great looking, a good fit and absolutely love the extra bit of height but having worn them briefly around the house to break them in, they squeak loudly! On investigation it is the removable wedge innersole that squeaks and I have no idea how this can be resolved. So I recommend them to anyone who can tolerate this.

I really liked these, especially due to the hidden wedge, as most regular trainers are too flat for me.
I also liked the fact that they don't look too 'chunky' - they look quite trendy.
My complaint is that they speak when I'm walking. I went back to the shop and tried another pair the same; they too squeaked.
The assistant said she had some and hers didn't. I brought them home again and will continue to try them in the house for a few days before I decide whether or not to return them.
The assistant said it was the leather which should soften - but I'm concerned it doesn't.

These are lovely shoes, but sadly I had to return them because they gave me blisters even though I was sitting down for most of the day the only time I wore them. I thought the built-up inner soles would be good for my high arches, but it meant my heels got caught in the wrong place.

Very narrow and very tight! Ordered in a 7 but couldn’t get feet in. Feel of the shoe was lovely, quite heavy but overall a nice looking shoe.

I have just received my trainers last week and they are going back as they have come and they look like they have been worn. There was marks on the front of trainer and on the laces. I’m not impressed as they cost a lot of money

Sorry I love your trainers, but disappointed when these arrived. Very large fitting. A good inch longer and wider than my existing size 40 white trainers.
Had to return them for a refund.

They look really smart, I love the style and colour. Although when I wore them on a longer walk out of the house they rubbed the back of my ankle. I have recently adjusted to the laces and when I did I noticed orange stains on them from the eyelets which now look a bit messy, I'm still yet to try them with new lace up as my ankle is still sore.

Being only 5ft tall, I always feel really small wearing trainers. Not any more! These are perfect, they add height without being bulky. I debated whether to get them as they are expensive - but so glad I decided to go for it. They are well worth it.
