Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Fabulous shoes. I like the, so much, I have them in 5 colours. Having recently changed jobs I now am on my feet all day, so needed comfortable flats. These are perfect and so comfortable. They are also true to size and generous in width. I made the mistake of sizing up based on other reviews, but had to replace with my usual size. I am usually size 4 or 4.5. The size 4 is perfect.

Unfortunately I've had to return these shoes as the leather was very hard on them so they were not comfortable, a real surprise for Moda in Pelle shoes as I love this brand. I also found them to be quite wide fitting.

Loved the look of these shoes bought the black & burgundy. Ordered size 39 as have five pairs of various Moda boots in this size. Have found that really needed 39 1/2 as the 39s are a little snug! Am trying various methods of stretching the shoes as I know 40s will be too big having made this mistake before. Can’t understand it, all the boots are on the generous side of 39 so why the shoes are so very snug? Hopefully will manage to get the shoes to fit!

Nice shoe, seem comfortable however, first time I wore them was around work (took in bag) to break them in and when I got home I had to glue the toe on one shoe as come away from the sole so could have tripped on carpet

Brought these for a business meeting, they are lovely but I know they are going to rub. One shoe is much softer than the other but this is typical of Moda in Pelle shoes.
This is my 15th pair, oncebyhey are worn in they keep the shape & look great for years!
