Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

Unfortunately, although they were gorgeous, made of lovely soft leather and precisely what I wanted, they didn't fit anywhere. My toes touched the top, they were tight yet slipped off the heels. Sorry, had to return.

I ordered these shoes to change into at night for a wedding, but unfortunately the leather not soft at the back of the heal so would have rubbed my heal, but saying that they are beautiful shoes disappointed on the leather used not soft but colour and sparkle where spot on. Not a good fit on my feet but probably suite someone else.

Awful shoes. I wore them for a night out with friends when we went for dinner. It was a 10 minute walk home and before we started walking I put plasters on as they were new shoes. By the time I got home the plasters had come off and my heels were completely shredded. The left foot was dripping in blood and the right slightly better. I contacted CS only to be told they would be better after a few wears and I couldn’t send them back because I’d worn them. The shoes are ruined, covered in blood. I sent them back regardless along with a handbag that I didn’t like with an explanation of my disappointment only to find out that they have just refunded the bag. I haven’t been able to wear any shoes other than flip flops for over 5 weeks which wasn’t great as I have just come back from honeymoon. My foot is still not healed and will probably be another few weeks before I can wear a normal shoe. No contact from CS, no explanation, no apology or an offer of any form of compensation. Thoroughly disappointed and disgusted.

Compliments. However a bit narrow and come up small, so if like me your normally a half size, size up. They do take a little bit of wearing in, but worth once you do.

Worn once for appx 4 hours on FLAT pavement. Sole at the heel has worn to the rope. Complained, told it was "wear"?!?!and no fault with the shoe!! Told to contact again if "wear' continues which it obviously will do!!!! Extremely disappointed!!! Bought ALOT of shoes from here because of good quality but NOT THIS TIME!!! Save your money and buy elsewhere!!!!!

These shoes are beautiful and excellent quality. However I have to say due to the design the soles are completely rigid and make it very difficult to walk in them! Also the back of the shoes is very hard and sharp. They are so lovely though that I am going to keep wearing them an hope they soften up.

I bought two pairs as the 40 was slightly too small and the 41 too big. I have therefore bought some leather stretcher for the 40 so I have to wear them in. Other than that they are absolutely wonderful: stylish, different and live up to the usual high standard of Moda.
