Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

Love these trainer they look so classy. I went a size up after some reviews said they were on the small side. They fit but think I’ll need to put thick socks on. I loved the look so decided to keep them as a size down could have been too snug for comfort.

These trainers are really comfortable and smart and I got them when they were on offer, so a good buy. Unfortunately they come up very large so I have had to give them to my daughter as she is one size larger and she said they fit her perfectly

The shoes are lovely but I was disappointed in that one of the shoes had faulty laces. They were twisted and I have had to take them out. Now I have to try to put them back in the shoes to match the other shoe. Not worn yet because of the above.

I have several pairs of Moda trainers, shoes and boots but can never get the sizing right first time! Some are size 6 and these needed to be size 7. Fortunately the 7 was in stock but it does mean that I’ve a return postage to pay, again. The trainers themselves are fabulous, well made, comfortable and very stylish.
