Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

I was very disappointed that these lovely trainers came up very small. I'm 5.5 so always buy a size 6. , sonetimes adding an insole .However these size 6 were far too small. Also was disappointed that I had to pay return postage on these and even more that my return tracking shows they have been received back,but I have yet to have an email to confirm this or a refund!

I am an addict to Moda Pelle and have bought them for years.

Got shoes I use had for years for ever occasion they come out over and over again.

However I do read reviews and always think people must be picky however these shoes are the worse I have ever tried on x Why !!!!

I always buy silver trainers for the Summer, which I did, but then thought a gold pair would also be nice to have. I love the design of these trainers, something different. Again, as with all Moda in Pelle shoes, such wonderfully soft leather and very well made.

Absolutely loved the shoes unfortunately wore them once and one of the gems fell off, I messaged customer service and was told all gems on shoes are not covered by them and because the shoes had been worn they would not accept them back but they could offer a replacement gem, I accepted because I had no other option but on reflection, nowhere on the website does it say anything about gems not being covered and shoes being unreturnable if worn especially when it must be a fault because I only wore them out shopping, a little disappointed and just glad I didn't pay full price for them (nearly £90) I will just have to hope anymore don't fall off.
