Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

I’ve sent these back as they were too narrow. I don’t normally have this problem so perhaps should have ordered a larger size. It’s annoying having to pay for returns. The shoes were as pictured otherwise.

After struggling to find trainers that fit my size 3 feet Elbertha fit the bill and look lovely. The back of these is not too high which is more comfortable also the fasteners make for ease on getting on these 80 year olds feet! These are my second pair of Moda trainers bought in t!he last couple of months - 4 other pairs sent back to other retailers, think I know where I will look in future x

I bought the shoes in 2 sizes due to previous reviews that it comes up narrow on the toe. It certainly does. The size up 7 were a tad too big and the straps were too long for some reason. They were however very comfortable and looked very good so was sad they didn’t fit.

These shoes are amazingly comfortable. As a person with very restricted mobility because of a disability with my back, I was pleasantly surprised when I put on the shoes for the first time. They fitted instantly, adjusting to my feet effortlessly. They are light, elegant, and terribly well made. There is attention to detail all over them. Indeed Italian shoes at their best. Thank you!

This is the first time I’ve ever been unhappy with a purchase from M ! I’ve numerous boots and other trainers which I’ve been very happy with . These trainers are very narrow and the right one rubbed my big toe nail bed causing an acute inflammation of the nail bed . I don’t feel i a=can wear them again . I wouldn’t mind so much but I’ve bought them in navy and grey as well !!!! It’s such a shame as they look good and excellent quality leather .

I really liked the shoe design, the quality of the leather and craftsmanship, it also was perfect fit. There were only one issue- it seems there's rubber toe cap so your toes are squashed all the time. I have no idea why someone would ruin such a beautiful shoe like that. Currently returning but really sorry I couldn't keep them. Just can't stand the pain

Haven’t had time to wear yet but this is my 5 th pair of trainers I have bought and they are all very comfortable and wear really well.
