Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

Arrived promptly.
I am a UK size 4.5 and ordered the size 4. They are a very good fit. Plenty of room. The 5 would of been too big.
Leather is so soft and comfortable.
I’ve had several compliments and only worn them a few times.
Would highly recommend. Love them.

Very stylish ankle boot with side zip for quick,easy and convenient access to put boots on and off.
Extra false side zip and silver heel panel add to the look of this trendy looking boot,I just love them.
The quality of the soft leather and finish of the boots are first class and the service received has been exemplary,I would definately buy another Moda in Pelle product again.

Not worn them yet but they arrived on time and in perfect condition. Have bought similar shoes and they are a soft buttery leather. I love Moda in Pelle and have been a customer now for at least 10 years. Good company to deal with and thoroughly recommend these shoes. Only 4 start as I haven’t actually head them on yet.

A lovely boot, very smart and comfortable. Marked down a bit as arrived with back loop not fitting properly and a scuff on heel. Customer services were very helpful and efficient in dealing with the issue.

I have many trainers from moda and these are my 1st high top. I am usually a 3 but bought a size 4 in these. They are a little big but with socks they will be perfect. I like that you can do them up to fit and use zip to put on and off. They are a little stiff but will soon loosen up on wear. Thanks again.

Love these trainers, recently bought them in Tan and now own them in Black as well. The style is timeless (will be wearing these for many years to come). The leather is so soft, very well made and so very comfortable from the moment I put them on. Not sure which colour I prefer, love them both. Once again, excellent service, quality and value for money from Moda N Pelle, (especially as I bought both pairs in the sale), which I consider to be an extra bonus. Would not have balked at paying full price for these.

I have returned these. I have several (too many!) pairs if Moda in Pelle shoes but this time I was very disappointed to find these were a centimetre longer than the other two pairs I have of basically the same style. Also, the leather wasn’t as supple.
