Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

Absolutely stunning boots in a true shade of navy. The narrow fit of the boots meant that I had to go up a size - usually a 5 - 5.5 but I definitely needed a 6 in these boots. They look really neat on my feet, very happy with this purchase.

Delivery was within a few days of ordering so brilliant service there. After looking at the reviews I was hoping they wasn't a small size 5. Well I ordered a 5 they fit absolutely perfect plenty of room and not a narrow fit. I love the colour Navy been looking everywhere for navy boots with a slight heel and not flat these are perfect to wear with dresses and trousers. They are so comfortable too and brought in the sale was an even better bonus

A lovely pair of boots. They fit true to size and are so comfortable. The leather is incredibly soft.

The boots were gorgeous however the fit was extremely poor. They were very narrow and squashed my foot. The side zip would not zip to the top because they were so narrow. Had to return them.

Lovely boots...but sizing was a bit small. Usually a Moda size 5 is roomy as I'm actually a 4 and a half. These were very small. Sent off for a size 6. One was smaller than the other, the smaller one being as tight as the previous 5's. Comparing them next to each other there was a centimetre difference...wrongly labelled?? Clearly faulty so returned. In the meantime I'd ordered another pair of size 6. This time, both the same size and fitted well! I've not had as many issues with Moda before. I think on the whole they are a good company but they need to sort out these inconsistencies. I'm still awaiting a refund.

The navy is a lovely light clear navy.
Boots so stylish, but the fit is so small. I would need to up a whole size. Decided to not reorder as returns are not free, so a risk.

I had an eye on these for a while but waited till they got reduced in price. Patience was rewarded and I also got 20% extra off the £79 price. I wanted navy ankle boots and these are lovely navy colour. The reason for four and not five is that they are rather tight even for my narrow size 6 and D fit feet. But the leather is very soft so they will give after a few days of wearing.

A beautiful pair off boots. Unfortunately the sizing is extremely small. It has a very narrow fit and the zip could not budge.
I am a loyal customer to Moda in Pelle so I have returned them and gone a size bigger. I am still waiting for them.
So unfortunately I think the buyer got it wrong with “Fits true to size” normally I would agree.

Not happy about the fact that I had to pay to return them.

Free delivery and returns would be great.
Or at least pay a yearly charge like other companies.

Please think about it.
