Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

Love the design but getting the boots on was problematic. The zebra section on the right boot folded inwards and got trapped at my heel. Difficult to pull out once the boot was on. Not as bad on the left but I did use a shoe horn! The boots fit well considering that in the past I have had to go up a size in Moda boots. Have to return because can’t be doing with the faff. Beautiful boot though, sigh.

These are beautiful boots, and I would of happily kept them, unfortunately they were too slim for my wide feet, so I have reluctantly had to send them back. They have a lovely cosy lining, softish leather and the animal print is a great feature, if a little wider in the foot they would of seen plenty of wear.
Would definitely recommend a try as you'll love them.

First time buying from moda in pelle. Lovely boots, true to size as per sizing guide. Only downside was delivery...Hermes only attempted delivery in the morning. I leave for work at 7:00am yet text advising of delivery didn't arrive until 9:34. Had to take morning off work to prevent parcel being sent back. Option to use Royal Mail would be good.
