Measuring Heel Height

We measure our heel heights (in centimetres) by placing the heel on a flat surface and then measuring from the surface to the top of the heel

We measure our boot heights (in centimetres) from the back of the boot, from the top of the heel all the way up.

Leather Uppers

Leather uppers will benefit from regular cleaning and protecting with our range of protector sprays and creams. Conditioning your boots with oil and creams will help the leather resist cracking, flaking, fading or looking tired.

Suede / Nubuck Uppers

As soon as suede shoes have been brought home, they should be sprayed with a protector spray that is designed for suede shoes. Purchase a suede brush and routinely brush the dust and debris from shoes. A good habit to have is brushing down suede shoes immediately after they have been worn.

Heel Tips

Heel tips are a replaceable component which should not be allowed to wear down. Replace heel tips on a regular basis to prevent permanent damage to the heels. We do not recommend that you replace plastic heel tips with metal heel tips as this could alter the construction of the shoe.

Replacing Insoles

The insole of a shoe takes quite a bit of abuse, especially in flat and court shoes which are meant to be worn without socks. If replacing the insole is to help eliminate odors, first check to see if the insole is worn out. If it is not worn out, try sprinkling baking soda in the bottom of the shoe at night and then shaking or vacuuming it out in the morning.

Wet Weather Advice

Never dry wet shoes next to a radiator or any other source of heat: you'll crack the leather. Simply stuff them with newspaper or boot shapers and allow them to dry out naturally. If they are covered in mud, brush off when dry and then polish as normal.

Embellished Uppers

Embellished uppers are often adorned with hot stones or beaded details. Sometimes through wear and tear, these may become loose. Our customer services team can help to offer spare trims to neatly bring any embellishment back to lift.

Good fit and ok for the sale price . Some of the studs were were scratched and showing the silver metal underneath and they were faux leather so no way would they be worth the original price . My first order from this brand and I expected better quality

I was disappointed to find that these boots are not leather having been almost £150 at full price; so, had I paid that - they would have gone straight back.
For what I paid though (£38.21), I do really like the boots and whilst they're not an amazing bargain as I first thought... they're a fair price at that for what they are!

These boots are very comfy, l would say they come up big (suitable for wide feet) but fine if you intend to wear with big socks. They are also very squeaky due to them not being leather so dont wear in quiet places. l would never pay the RRP but they are worth the mega discounted price. They are lovelly but nothing special, they do look like a £40 pair of nice boots. Well packaged and really fast delivery. lf they are on a deal grab them as you wont be dissapointed but if at full price sit tight for the sales.

Don't be fooled by the Company name which translates from Italian as 'leather fashion'. These shoes are plastic. Very disappointed that shoes costing £120 are plastic. Oh, and if you don't know apparently that's what Porvair is. The 'customer service' agent seemed to think that this should be widely known! Also, don't expect and customer service - you won't get any. Steer clear.

I returned these boots as they are made of PCV type material. They smelled awful, very synthetic.
I bough them half price and for the price I paid I was shocked they would be anything other than leather.
The overall design is lovely with the buckles but the toe is very almond shaped

The boots look great, just what I hoped they’d look like BUT they are not leather- I looked very carefully at the description before I bought and that didn’t say one way or the other so I thought I would take a chance. I feel slightly cheated. If they hadn’t been reduced I would be very disappointed and would probably have returned them. Description needs to be clearer! “Textile upper, Vegan leather” whatever!
